4 month old baby and 11 weeks pregnant!!! help

Hi ladies

basically i fell pregnant straight away although i was on the pill. I am totally in utter shock and scared out of my mind. I am looking for some advicand guidence really. P.s i keeping the baby and i also have a 5yr old so this will be my 3rd .

My sister was only 3 months pregnant when my mom then fell pregnant with me. I'm sure she was pretty shocked too but me and my sister have the most amazing relationship. There is only 1 year and 3 weeks between us and I love the bones of her. We grew up doing everything together, we have the same friends, the same memories etc, I truly believe my happy childhood was down to having a sibling so close in age!! Congratulations and focus on the positives - everything will be fine

Dont worry. Later it will be great. You just need a twin buggy (maybe Maclaren Twin) and help. Mother in Low, nanny, sister etc. I am pregnant now with my second and daughter is only 1 ( but have been trying for a while° as I wanted to be pregnant straight again. It will be amazing once their are older. They will be friends and can all the time play together (rather than you constantly organising play-dates with children which you dont even like) just so your little one can socialise a bit.

Yes, focus on the positives. Once morning sickness is gone, its all good.

I have a 14 month gap between my 2nd & 3rd and it was great, no jealousy issues and they were in to all the same things at the same time when they were younger despite being very different personalities.

12 month gap here. Very very hard at first but now a complete and utter breeze. It's like having two little best friends living in your house.

There's 13 months between the girls I nanny for and they are best friends. It's really lovely to see. It was hard when they were both babies but so so totally worth it

Congratulations!

DS1 was 4 months when we found out DS2 was coming. They are 2 and 3 now and great friends and companions.

It is hard. Especially the first six months after the baby was born. But then it got much easier (still hard, but easier!).

There's no jealousy because they don't remember not having each other. There is always someone to play with and nearly everything is suitable for both of them at the same time.

Encourage your DC1 to be as independent as possible. I spent a lot of time teaching DS1 to climb stairs so I wouldn't have to carry him when I was very pregnant/had a newborn. Grab any offers of help with both hands!

We didn't plan to have them so close together but I now can't imagine not having them like this and I have no regrets.

Must be the time of year There was a poster the other day with the same situation!

Congratulations! It always impresses me when people fall so quickly a second time! The idea of never having sex again after delivery is quite appealing right now!

There is 15 months between mine, and while it has been hard, they now play together really nicely and are firm friends (4 and 3 next month). I was in total shock at the time (DS1 was not the easiest baby), and we moved to the other end of the country when I was 8 months pg with DS2. Things have settled down now (I am hankering after a third!) so I am sure you will be fine.

Congratulations! I'm a twin and it's awesome so I'm sure your children will love it. My mum had us unexpectedly pretty young and without much local support but said it was manageable and actually sometimes easier than having one e.g when we were old enough to entertain ourselves.

I was in your position and there is exactly 11 months between my youngest girls! Except surprise dd4 was my fifth!
I won't lie - it's bloody hard work but they are 2 and 3 now and are very very close. Like best friends and dd4 is lost when her sister is at nursery.
I found it hard as I had 2 non walking babies so was often seen with one on each hip! It's so so lovely though and they are like twins. People always think they're twins and they share clothes.
Congratulations! It'll be a bit of a blur but great fun too.

Congratulations! There is 11 months between my two youngest brothers and my DM said she found that an easier gap than the 20 months between me and my other brother.

There were into the same activities at the same stages, and have grown up to be very close to each other, it's lovely. Please don't be scared, I'm sure you will be fine.

Congratulations. My DS4 is 8 months and I'm 18 weeks pregnant with DC5 (was also on the pill). No tips from me yet but glad to see the other positive stories. madame so pleased that an 11 month gap is easier than a 20 month gap. I've got a 22 month gap between DS1 and DS2 and thought the 13 month gap I'm having this time would be a lot harder.

I have a 2 1/2 yr old, 1 1/2 year old (11 month gap ) and 5 month old :) also a 13 yrs old and 14 yr old :) its madness when they're little, very busy, but fun and i wouldn't change it for a minute :)

I've got a 8 year old and a 7 year old (1 year and 9 days gap) I also have 4 and 3 year old.. my youngest child is 12 months and I'm expecting baby number 6 in May.... Honestly you shouldn't worry... it'll be hard at first but once your baby gets into a routine it won't be as hard

Hiya, don't worry!! This happened to me too, my girls are only12 months apart. I breast fed through preg and after fed both babies ( tandem feeding) was knackering but fine! They are now 5 and 6. Totally different personalities, but so so close. My second and third too. You will just rise to it, like we all do as mums, it is amazing what we can do! Sometimes I look back and think 'how on earth did I cope?!' But you just do. Congratulations!

I think it's probably more common than you think - in my DD2s class there are 2 sets of siblings who aren't twins, but are in the same school year (so the older with a September birthday and the younger with July/August).

congrats 2ndtymmummy2b I got 2 kids there's 11 months between mine and im preggers again.... there is also only 10 months difference between me and my big sister lol everyone used to say to me " its so hard looking after one never mind 2" but tbh it isn't hard, its as hard as YOU make it :) all the best chick ............good luck
