Rhesus Negative

Hi, calling all Rhesus Negative ladies... I am 27 weeks pregnant with number 2, number 1 was 2 weeks early. In the last 2 weeks I have been told by numerous people who know someone or who are Rhesus Negative themselves that all their babies were early and this is common if you are Negative. A good friend of mine is a doctor and said both her babies were early 3 weeks and 5 weeks eek.... and she did agree that it was more common for ladies with this blood group. I was just interested if this was just all coincidence or have any of you experienced early labour being Rhesus Negative? Thanks :)

Only one child who was 3 days early. And is rhesus positive.

I was apparently about a fortnight late, and ginormous.

I am rhesus negative, and was 12 days late

I'm Rh Neg and have had 2 Rh positive DCs both 5 days late. My Rh neg friend had DC1 post EDD and DC2 was an ELSC. I've not heard this theory before. I'm pg with DC3 so we'll see what happens.

I'm Rh-ve and Dd arrived smack bang on her due date.

Rh Neg. I've had 1 on time and 2 late. I'd like an early this time though!

Rhesus negative - first baby induced 5 days over, second was 10 days early

RNeg and only dc was 12 days over!

I'm RNeg and first baby was 10 days late! Currently 15 weeks with DC2.

Rhesus negative - 1st baby 18 days late and 2nd baby 10 days late!

Not me. First was 6 days "late" and second was only about a week early.

Sounds like a load of rubbish to me, if was statistically proven then all of us who are neg. would surely be advised of such during pregnancy.

I am neg. my babies were - 9 days over due date, 5 days over due date and 12 days over due date.

The only people I know who's babies were early are positive.

I'm rhesus negative and I was 6 weeks early.

My dd1 and ds1 were both two weeks early, dd2 was a week late and I was induced a week early with ds2 due to gestational diabetes. They're all rhesus negative.

I am rh neg
DC1 on due date
DC2 8 days over
DC3 2 weeks early
DC4 1 week early

I am rhesus neg, i had to be induced on my due date (medical reasons) and he arrived 2 days later. I think he would have been quite late if I had not been induced.

Im rh neg and was induced at 40+1 weeks with dd who is rh positive

Thanks ladies, all sounds like a very big coincidence to me... i wont panic yet!!!

Rh- negative here.

Dc1 was 4 days late (Rh+)
Dc2 was a week late (Rh-)
Dc3 was 6 days early but had planned section. I believe she would have been late too if left. (Rh-)

i'm rhesus negative and my dd was 2 weeks late
my mum is also rhesus negative and all 3 of us were AT LEAST 2 weeks late
so personally i dont believe it!

I'm rhesus negative and hadn't heard this theory before. I was born two weeks late but both DD and DS were born a few days early - two days and four days respectively. Both are rhesus positive.

Rh-negative

DC1 Rh neg 1 day late EMCS
DC2 Rh neg ELCS 39 weeks no signs of coming early
DC3 Rh neg ELCS 39+1 no signs of coming early

So I think this theory is very wrong!

Rhesus Negative.

DS1 - 13 days late
DS2 - 1 day late
DS3 - 10 days late.

I'm not backing that theory either!

DS 2 or 3 weeks late, failed induction, delivered eventually by section
DD 1 week late, delivered by section

I'm rh neg so are my 2 DC, they arrived at 37 weeks and 36 weeks.

My Rh neg sister had her DC at 37 weeks.

I've never heard of this and if true I wish someone had told me, our house was still being decorated and I was told by anyone who had an opinion first babies are usually late.

I'm RH- and both my babies were born at 39w exactly.

I'm rh- and was 4 weeks early, dr didn't know why, my waters just broke. Sure they would have mentioned my blood type if common.
