had vigorous sweep yesterday midday (39+6). ended up spending large portion of day at hospital (wont bore you with details but all is well!). had ctg at 4pm which showed quite a bit of uterine activity.

had quite a lot of tightness etc nothing hugely indicative of imminent activity though.

just woke, went to loo, bit of browny pink discharge when i wiped (19 hours after sweep). feel generally quite achey, no real contractions just a kind of feeling it could maybe possibly happen.

now cant sleep due to excitement that i may have baby without forcible medical eviction (booked for sunday/monday).

am i being daft?!!!

No, not daft. Hope it all speeds up for you and you have your baby today :-)

thanks! me too; today is my actual due date! (as well as MIL's birthday which obviously is utterly annoying).

im not sure whether a feeling of imminence counts as sign LOL, or doing my white washing at 624 am?!

I'm afraid sweeps always made me achy for 24 hours and resulted in lots if shows but never worked in any of my three pregnancies. They always felt like they'd triggered something but it was never "it". You may be different though!

damn heartychoke! lol. well, even if its a bit of short-lived hope, it will get me through another day!
