"12 week" scan at 11 weeks?

I am 10 weeks pg after mc. so happy! Had an early scan at 7 weeks and saw heartbeat which was just wonderful. My mw has scheduled my next scan for next week, when I will be 11 weeks rather than 12 weeks due to her annual leave commitments. I can't change to another mw. She also offered me a 13 week scan as an alternative but I don't have enough patience to wait until then for peace of mind that the baby is ok.
If things go well at the scan, my dh and I would like to tell friends and family our news afterward (so far it is a secret). Do you think that we will be safe to do so after an 11 week scan? It is slightly troubling me that we won't be out of the first trimester.

I was given my scan at 11 weeks but when I got the the scam they done measurements and said that for accurate mesaurements I need to be at least 12 weeks so I have to go back again for another dating scan

THe baby was perfect and I decided to go ahead and tell people anyway

Strictly you aren't out of the first trimester until 13 weeks

I would tell people if the scan is ok.

I have had 12 weeks scans at 9 and 10 weeks as no one believed me when I explained about a long cycle

I think you would be fine to tell people.
