Hi all
I know this has been done before but just wondering if anyone knows what the average weight gain is for 6 months pregnant? Can't seem to find anything online......?

I don't know the figure but expect it's not helpful.

Are you worried? Are you watching your weight?

Google pregnancy weight gain calculator. You can put in your height and starting weight and it tells you week by week. I can't work out how to post link on phone but let me know if you can't find it and I'll link when home.

No, not worried as such, just that I weighed myself today and I've only gained 2lb, despite a mahoosive bump! I was heavier than I usually am when I fell and I lost weight to start with due to nausea (and lack of wine!) but just curious is all. Also, the only thing I've really fancied is salads and yoghurts and fruit so probably quite normal. Xx

Weight gain in pregnancy is a funny thing. I gained about 14 kilos but had a big baby, excess fluid and a huge placenta. Oh and huge boobs. I always looked like I was just bump despite the fact I was mainlining cake. When DD was a week old I was back in my pre pregnancy jeans.

Hormones do funny things to calories.

If baby is healthy and your bump is growing along the curve it should, weight gain (or lack of) is not something to worry about.

I am 17 weeks 1 day pregnant and I am 17 years old I am about 5ft1. I was weighed by the hospital at 10w5d and I was 8 stone 7, I weighed myself today and I am 8 stone 10 is 3 pound a good gain or should I have gained more.

I am normally 8 1/2 st. Now 5 months pregnant and around 10 1/2 st.
I tend not to weigh myself. I am up one dress size on my backside. However, I eat healthy and I look healthy so it can't be bad. Its normal to be more hungry than usual but as long as you don't pig out on cake and pizza but eat sensible food its fine. I am sure it will take me a year or more to lose this weight but I don't care. Baby is priority ;-)

I'm 6 months pregnant today with my first and have gained nearly two stone! I had lost 7 and a half stone before pregnancy so finding this a little hard to deal with! The worst is yet to come. .....Shock Smile
