I have no advice, sorry, just wanted to say- how bloody horrible for you! Hope you can hang in there. You will feel amazing once it's all over but that is no comfort now I'm sure. Have you got much help at home?

mrsmugoo · 02/02/2014 13:54

Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy. I'm 34 weeks, thankfully no health issues like you but still feeling really uncomfortable and tired and still working full time until the end of the month.

Only advice is to relax as much as you can - the only way I can manage to stay comfortable and not get really agitated is to lie on my side with pillows and do some deep breathing.

Hi no advice here either just wanted to say how horrible for you. I am 32 weeks and with none of the problems you are going through but i can say that i am feeling like crazy. I can't imagine what you are going through. Hope things will improve. xx. Hang in there

Inglori0us · 02/02/2014 14:01

You poor thing, that's horrible. I had a very similar situation with my dd. My waters broke at 37+3 and as soon as she was out I felt great.

Just take it easy, eat what you can and try to drink lots if you can't face food. xx

Thanks girls hopefully it will be over soon lol. Well I cnt wait for it to be over should I say, my first pregnancy was soo straight forward and easy think its safe to say this is my last pregnancy this has been enough to put me of for a lifetime. Fingers crossed the scan thursday will give me more to go on x

That sounds awful, poor you Sad
The last month or so is bad enough even in a worry free pregnancy. Being in water helped with the discomfort I found, so baths or pool if you can. And hand over as many day to day tasks as you can to other people - you need to spend as much time in bed / on the couch as possible.
Hope you get good news at the scan.

poor you

if the amniotic fluid is reduced significantly they can deliver baby any time, I'd opt for a C-section.

do ask at least if this is something they would consider soon.

I don't know if you would keep it down, but try to have some high factor Manuka honey - licking it in tiny amounts off a spoon might just help you improve slightly (it's full of sugar for energy, plus it has natural antibiotic/antiviral properties, minerals and vitamins)

it's the only thing I'm able to tolerate at times.

And do get checked for pre-eclampsia if you feel suddenly weird with shoulder and/or rib cage pain, dark urine, head ache (sorry can't remember other symptoms).

frequent peeing - UTI or kidney infection/problems?

so sorry you are really unwell. Thanks
