39+2 just waiting

Just that really. Due on Thurs, have 2.2 year old who's not sleeping great, I'm sleeping even worse and although nervous about the birth am getting fed up of waiting now. Have and BH on and off for about 3 weeks, last night starting getting on and off period type pains, went for a wee more time than I care to remember and kind of thought something was starting... This morning- nothing. Feeling a bit fed up about that!
Anyone else care to join in moan?

I'm 40 + 4. Can't believe I'm still pregnant! Normally my babies are early. I so want to wear jeans again & be 'normal' !!!

Ah Shelly, I feel for you. With my dd I got to my due date, had a sweep and mw said it'd be a while yet. I was so miserable all day. Then 4am the next morning my waters broke. Obviously I didn't want baby to come pre term but I just don't want to go past due date. I don't want to be induced.

I'll join in the moan! 40+2 with my first, always thought I would go over but hoped I wouldn't. I don't want to be induced either but hopefully it won't come to that.

I'm 40+ 6 with dc1- I'm going crazy!

I'm due thurs too! I haven't really had any signs it's coming.. I've been fed up sice 30 weeks!

I seemed to be the only one in the hospital that was overdue and fed up. I went to 41 plus 6 days. . He came the day before being 2 weeks over due. He was a big boy with ridiculously dry skin which he had to be treated for. I had 3 sweeps and I was on 24 hour rest after my first induction when waters broke. It was such a lonely time in hospital. First baby and I was terrified. Keep yourself busy :) It will happen before you know it. Good luck to you all xx xx

I'm due on Wednesday and really feel your pain ladies! Any slight pain or twinge and I'm almost jumping through the room with excitement.
