Hello... so we've been trying since last summer and last night I had a faint positive test! AF wasn't due until tomorrow and I know tests should ideally be taken in the morning, but last night something made me try. This morning I took another test and the line was instantly clear and dark, so I was prepared to begin to believe it!
I've been a bit of a lurker in Mumsnet, as I'm not a mum, but perhaps now I don't have to lurk 
So, fingers crossed and here goes... it's our first pregnancy and I'm in my mid-30s already... I work closely with babies and children and have a lot of experience in that way, but I'm expecting that is very different with your own! DH is at work until late so I have a whole day of lonesome excitement before I can tell him
