Head really low down at 33 weeks...

Saw the doctor yesterday and he was a bit concerned that the baby's head was very low for this stage. I'm 33 weeks with second DC and I felt the baby drop at least a week ago. He said to watch out for signs of preterm labour and to take it easy.
I'm really worried now as I'm booked to have a csection at 39 weeks and I really don't want to have a panicky emergency one plus I really don't want the baby to be premature. Very stressed about that and the implications re breastfeeding etc.
Anyway how on earth do you take it easy with a 4 year old, a house to keep and get ready for the baby and also half term in 2 weeks!!

I don't really have any advice i'm afraid as i'm only on my first pregnancy but my midwife checked me at 29 weeks and said baby had "dropped" and i felt her go a week or so before the appointment (im assuming its the same thing i really have no clue)
She didn't seem worried at all though and just said to keep going as i was 32+1 now and baby is still in there and hasn't changed position
just try not to worry about it i guess Smile

I am currently 38 wks with DC2 and baby also dropped very early on much to my MW surprise. I do think it's made me slightly more uncomfortable and have spent many hours worrying about early signs and symptoms.

Unfortunately still pregnant despite numerous weeks of early symptoms ho hum! I have a 18 month old toddler so taking it easy is never going to be possible. Good luck

With dc3 I went into premature labour at 29:wks. Baby was fully engaged. Thankfully everything stopped & she was born at 38 wks. She stayed engaged for 10 wks.

Dc4, 5 & 6 the same. I'm four days over due with dc6. She's been engaged since 32 weeks.

Every hcps I've met says I will have the baby within days... They have been saying that for nearly 9 weeks!
