Waves
Are you taking on a full tummy, I found unless my tummy was full they made me so sicky, I take in the morning after breakfast

noeyedeer · 30/01/2014 19:41

I took these in my first pregnancy, until I worked out that they were the main source of my morning sickness. This time I've just taken a folic acid and a vitamin D vitamin. When my GP asked about which vitamins I was taking and I told her this, she said that other women had also said the same.

squizita · 30/01/2014 19:42

Taking them after lunch helped me. Could it be coincidence i.e. morning sickness kicking in anyway?

They do say on the pack to eat first. I have also tried Sanatogen ones which are a similar deal.

lucyfluff · 30/01/2014 20:08

Hey pina Smile yes taking them with main meal!

Im hoping its not evening sickness :/ maybe I will go back to seperate folic acid/vit D and see if that helps. Fingers crossed!!!

Thanks ladies Smile

Hi, I found switching from Pregnancare to Seven Sea's version helped - I had evening sickness with pregnancare - yuk.

SpawningSalmon · 30/01/2014 22:18

I have tried a few types of vitamin by Vitabiolics- Wellwoman, Immunace etc and they have all made me feel really ill. I think they are just too strong. Immunace gave me a horrible, borderline hallucinogenic feeling. Confused Don't worry, I know that sounds bonkers, but it's true!

I haven't dared take Pregnacare but have been taking Sanatogen Mum to Be and have found them to be great.

Dipsey00 · 30/01/2014 22:23

I take them after my tea but they too effect me and make me feel ill. I am 22 weeks and I feel less sick than I used too. I find having a little something after like a yogurt or biscuit makes me feel a lot better and less sick. Good luck.

Writerwannabe83 · 30/01/2014 22:26

I used to feel a but queasy with them, I've been much better since swapping to Sanatogen Mum-to-Be Vitamins Smile

SpawningSalmon · 30/01/2014 22:28

Sanatogen are currently on 3 for 2 at Asda btw.

highlandfling10 · 30/01/2014 22:41

I stopped using pregnacare as was notably feeling queasy and bad tummy cramps and couldn't sleep - I was absolutely wired! This all stopped after I stopped taking them. And I took them on a full stomach each night.

Last pregnancy I used Sanatogen mum to be and found them great - but decided to just go for the NHS healthy start vitamins in the end this time that the MW gave me, they are just simple Vitamin C ,D, and Folic and very cheap! Haven't had any problems with them.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 31/01/2014 07:24

I couldn't get on with the Pregnacare ones, tried taking them at different meal times but it didn't seem to make a difference. I had trouble swallowing the tablets too (made me gag sometimes) so I now have chewable vitamins instead which I have found much better.

Amo101 · 31/01/2014 08:15

I've tried lots of different ones and find the boots own pregnancy support to be the easiest to take but I do take them last thing at night just before I fall asleep.

lucyfluff · 31/01/2014 09:20

Thanks ladies!!! may send hubbie to Asda on his lunch break to grab some Sanatogen Smile
