hi, i am gate crashing as i am not actually pregnant but would like some advice from pregnant ladies who were on anti hypertensive meds pre pregnancy.
my gp wants me to start anti hypertensive meds and i was just wondering what effects this would have on ttc? i am not planning to for at least another year but want to know if i would have to stop/ change meds pre ttc as this may affect which ones i am started on?
i am worried about ttc on anti hypertensives but i am also worried about ttc with high blood pressure as i lost ds 1 to early onset pre eclampsia. thankfully ds2 and dd were born healthy but i was induced early both times for signs of pe. i have only ever been on anti hypertensives before for the pe and a while after. my bp went to high end normal after that but has crept up to treatment levels again.
