Hi all. Me and DP haven't had sex since I've been pregnant, I just lost my urge but now I'm 16wks I'm feeling more in the mood :) I'm worried about DP pushing air into me though as I've heard it's dangerous when pregnant? It used to happen all the time before pregnancy and of course we just used to laugh but now I heard it could be serious? Any advice appreciated

It's only dangerous immediately after giving birth... which isn't common really when you think about it.

If you're not bleeding.. see is safe in pregnancy.

You'll be fine.

SweetPea86 · 30/01/2014 09:49

What's sex, I think I've become a born again virgin since being pregnant lol.

Sweetpea86 I also havnt DTD since I discovered pregnancy, I'm 11weeks tomorrow, lol
I'm all up for being a born again virgin Wink

Wow! Can you all tell my OH that please coz i've not been given any allowances for being pregnant yet and i'm 19 weeks!

You all must have very understanding OH's which is lovely :)

xx

akachan · 30/01/2014 15:01

Claire - I appreciate you may be joking but that's actually horrible if correct. If you don't feel like having sex then don't, you don't require your OH's understanding.

VanitasVanitatum · 30/01/2014 15:04

Not been given any allowances?!? Assume you're joking.. If you don't want to, don't!!

SomethingOnce · 30/01/2014 15:21

Yeah, mine isn't understanding, it's just that he's only into sex if I am too Confused

Innogen · 30/01/2014 15:27

Claire is obviously joking.

Shag him rotten OP, unless your cervix is wide open.

mixi82 · 30/01/2014 15:48

I think Claire is joking, surely no one would let that happen?

My DP was a bit funny about it all when I first got pregnant, saying it was perfectly safe etc. but I told him straight that I just wasn't in the mood. He thought he'd done something wrong! I reassured him and now he's quite happy with a nice cuddle in bed :D I guess guys can be difficult at times eh!

I am a little concerned about hearing stories of bleeding after sex during pregnancy, is that just because of everything inside being more sensitive? I don't want DP to panic when he sees blood and most of all, I don't want to panic either!

Oh dear... yes I was joking

If i don't want to I don't, just mean he's still up for it all the time that's all
