Fasting for GTT but still vomitting if hungry especially mornings. Coping strategies?

28+4

Fasting from 10pm tonight for glucose tolerance testing from 9am. Won't be able to eat until after 11am.

Feeling a bit panicked as I normally manage my sickness with anti-emetics at bedtime, (also need Rennie's at night), and I eat late before bed and as soon as I wake.

Any ideas?

I used to find milk helped with heartburn. You can still drink fluids other than water right? Maybe have an early night to try and keep the nausea at bay. Good luck Smile

No ideas to help, but sending hug and sympathy.
Sickness at 28 weeks is grim :-(

It wasn't so bad in the end. I took my anti-emetics at 10pm, and although the glucose drink was fairly unpleasant I was able to distract myself with a book until after the second blood test at 11.30am and then I had lunch.

No results yet, but at least i didn't throw up and mess up the test.
