evaporation lines or an early positive pregnancy test? HELP

Help! I have done around 10 tests. I am not quite late with my period yet but I have had some pregnancy symptoms. However the second line on my tests are very faint I am concerned they may just be evaporation lines. The test's I have used have pink lines to show the results. The second faint line is pink but only shows after about 10 minutes. This has happened with all 10 tests. One was a different brand but still had a very light line. I tried one with tap water. I got the negative line but no second line. So confused

It would seem unlikely to be evaporation lines with 10 different tests, sounds like your pregnant to me congrats

I would wait 2 days then do a digital test then you will know for sure x

My "faint line" is now 9 months old, and currently cruising around the furniture and causing all manner of chaos

Pregnancy tests are only accurate when read within the first few minutes

Only do a digital if you have the money to spend. It uses exactly the same chemical as the pound shop ones.

I know people like the reassurance of seeing it in writing instead of looking at a line, but it's no more reliable.

An early response test on the other hand, may show a stronger line (it did for me).

Oh sorry I totally missed the after 10 minutes thing, Lydiejo is right, and EmilyJane I see why you're confused.

I don't know what else to suggest other than to keep testing, especially if you're not actually at your due date yet.

Well I am meant to come on today but I am unsure about my cycle as I had the copper coil for the last 4 months but had it removed end of December. My last day of my period was 30th Dec. I have only been trying for a month so I am reluctant to believe we have conceived in that time although my partner was very good at ensuring we made the most of ovulation. I only did the test yesterday and did it early cause I started noticing funny smells when nobody else could. I started wanting hot chocolate and biscuits all last week and I normally don't have a huge sweet tooth. I also got really funny on a few drinks on Fri...like giddy and sickly. I normally polish of three times the amount with no problems. I have been getting stomach cramps and breast ache the last few days but it feels a bit like pmt.

Do you normally get breast ache?

The funny smells sound promising. I got phantom garlic smells in early pregnancy, very odd! (But not uncommon apparently).

I could smell wine in the kitchen at work. I am a nurse in a hospital so no chance of that. That is what triggered me to go do a test after my work colleagues couldn't help but laugh at the fact I was sure there was wine in the staff kitchen. How can I upload a picture of my test?
