I know this type of thread has been done before, but ive not come across one recently.

Has anyone experienced being told at the scan they were having a BOY but a GIRL popped out?
I know it can happen easily the ther way round because of the boy bits being hidden.

My partner claims to have seen our sons bits on the scan, but along this pregnancy i have had a feeling we're having a girl.
On our first (2 years ago) we chose not to find out but I had a feeling we would have a boy and i was right (50 /50 I know!)

I'll be 38 week on Wednesday and ive carried very differently with this one. Ive been very low for about 2 months now.

If the scan is right then the Chinese Luna Calendar is a load of tosh!!

I'd be inclined to believe the scan. It's quite rare that the sonographer's get it wrong.
When I was pregnant with my 4th we decided to find out. We already had 3 boys and discovered we were having a girl. But I was convinced they'd got it wrong, they hadn't because she's now nearly 3!

I know one couple who were wrongly told that they were having a boy - seems the sonographer mistook a bit of umbilical cord for boy bits.

But AFAIK it's very unusual for sonographers to think it's a boy when it's really a girl. Much commoner to be told it's a girl and then have a boy.

Aww Nanxy how lovely, a girl after 3 boys. I bet she'll be well looked after with 3 older brothers :-)

I was told 80% boy at nearly 17 weeks at a dedicated sex determination place. She said she couldn't be totally sure it wasn't the cord, but was reasonably sure it was a penis.

Said daughter is five years old now and I've yet to locate this mystery penis.

We did have another look at the anatomy scan and the sonographer there said definitely a girl, to my amusement.

All my others have been right though!
