Any tips to help with swelling?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and my feet are HUGE - its very uncomfortable to walk etc.

I'm sort of being observed for possible pre-eclampsia as I have had a few other symptoms but anyway...

I know elevating them is supposed to help but I did that earlier and it didnt really work. Does anybody have any idea of things I could try to get the swelling down?

Thanks!

drink lots of water.

I used a cold compress on mine last night and it seemed to help a bit.

Thanks Senora - I drink at least 2 litres a day but I hadnt thought of a cold compress - maybe that while they are elevated would be good

2 litres a day isn't enough if it's hot btw - that's the amount you should be drinking in normal weather iirc.

Try rinsing your legs from mid thigh downwards in cold water in the shower and then elevate them?
