I have just recovered from 3 days of horrendous sickness. I was in bed the whole time feeling horrendous, not wanting any food and vomiting as soon as I tried to go anywhere.
Today, I am better and woke up feeling I really, REALLY fancy French bread, coleslaw and Babybel. So I drive hubby to the Coop. Get back home. HE HAS FORGOTTEN THE F BABYBEL!
I think I am going to cry and scream at him. I am trying to stay calm but I am SO UPSET!!!!!!!!!
He has offered to go back but driving makes me feel borderline sick so not sure I want to.
And now to make it even better, he is cooking himself some BACON and the whole house is stinking. Is the man trying to make me be sick??
Sorry I know this is a negative post but I just feel like screaming and don't want to shout at hubby so venting here. Trying to stay zen.......
PLEASE SEND ME SOME BABYBEL :(

Oh no! There's nothing worse than a unsatisfied craving when you finally want to eat something - sending you virtual babybel x

Can't he go out again and get Babybel? Pregnant woman's privilege to ask this. Is there nowhere within walking distance?

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 26/01/2014 15:31

They just don't get it. We can't help it, it's our hormones. They dont understand that are bodies are in command, and we have to go with it.
I keep asking mine for help doing stuff. I might as well not bother . He keeps going off to hide upstairs when I get irrational, and I really don't want to do stuff alone atm but he just keeps saying "you'll be fine" "go and get it done".
I'd sometimes like to jam his head in the door. I cant help it, I just wish he'd listen and understand a bit more. Sad

Mine ordered me the wrong thing when he went to place our food order in a restaurant the other day and I could have committed a murder I was that angry! They just don't get it do they, bloody men!

Hubbythecatandme · 26/01/2014 20:21

Mellow no, there is only a shell petrol station so they wouldn't be selling it!!

haha saggy and littlebean I sympathize!! Thing is, I would normal not mind eating the cheddar that is in the fridge... but savoury cheese sandwiches is the last thing I craved and ate (all day) before having these really bad 3 days of sickness so I just cannot face eating that cheese again now yuck! I can't believe he forgot the babybel though haha I made him repeat the 4 items we needed 3 times!! Can't go into shop myself as smell of coffee made me sick last time so I have learnt not to play with fire :s

LOL i know the feeling, i HAD to have chicken fried rice when i could finally eat again... hubby didnt seem to realise it HAD to be the kind u get from the chinese and kept offering to cook it. I dont want that!!! I want it from a take-away!! Grin

livingzuid · 27/01/2014 12:18

Dh made chicken when my hg was at its peak. I nearly threw him out of the flat and instead stood on the balcony trying to breathe whilst he went around aerating a room for me to sit in. And do not come home with cookie dough Ben and Jerry's when I expressly asked for peanut butter cup! It is not the same!

ShreddedHoops · 27/01/2014 21:59

Grin I remember sitting with my body being racked with sobs, tears running down my face because DH had got me some kind of fish in sauce thing instead of fish and chips from the chippie!

SweetPea86 · 27/01/2014 22:54

Oh the smelling the house out with bacon sarnies, been there Hun and went mental on him.

When he did that I got up the next morning and kitchen still smelt of bacon.....borrrrrrk.

Had to throw up in kitchen sink on a plate that he didn't wash that had bacon smell on it.

WELL you can imagine how that went down. Dragged him out of bed to wash the pots and sink out. There's been no bacon sandwiches since :p

Have a good cry and get it off your chest. Hope you feel better

Thanks for your messages!! I am just sooo hoping sickness doesn't come back. I seem to have 3 days feeling horrendous then I am great for a week or more then it comes back and I am stuck in bed again, feeling miserable and unable to do anything. Feeling great at the moment although the smell of coffee and meat is still eww.... I ended up being sick in the sink the other day as hubby stupidly showed me the chicken fat that had dripped down the bottom of his beloved new air fryer :s. He is starting to learn but dear me blunder after blunder!!!!
