I'm 35wks and getting cramping pains on the lower part (underside?) of my bump when walking even short distances.
Anyone else had this??
Thanks!

Yes, braxton hicks contractions. Try going for a wee (can't remember where I got that advice from!), high heels made it much worse, but ultimately, it's time to put your feet up!

DS was bouncing his head off my pelvic floor from about 34 weeks - could it be that? It was sharp and stabby though.... not helping, am I? Grin Thanks

Probably Braxton hicks. They can get worse with movement. Make sure you are hydrated, as dehydration makes them worse.

Sounds like SPD but I'm surprised it's only just started. Walk with little steps and stop for breaks.

If its braxton hicks, your bump will go all hard, (mine looked kind of square!)

Yes, I have similar (33 weeks) - BH every time I walk anywhere longer than just my front door to the car.

Hydration does make a difference, but it also makes me need a wee almost constantly!

Thanks. I don't think it's SPD as I'm fine most of the time. Sometimes, especially if walking too fast, it just hurts, like getting a stitch on one side or both. Othertimes I can amble along for an hour just fine with no bother....

Yes, MW said that the baby was resting on a nerve. It was awful towards the end, I had to start maternity leave 2 weeks earlier than planned because of it. When I went into labour it turned out he was back to back, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
