Early labour...

Chuckthefucklebrothers · 25/01/2014 05:48

Yup, either strong Braxton Hicks or labour. How are you feeling this morning?

Londongirl84 · 25/01/2014 08:19

Nothing at all, no pain this morning. What was it?!! BH? X

I would have thought bh, yes. Or maybe baby shifting down a bit, getting ready to make his/her escape?? Good excuse to take it easy today anyway Grin

Londongirl84 · 25/01/2014 08:27

Absolutely! I'm hoping this means I will have my baby early and not be overdue, but it probably doesn't work like that! X

Hey London girl I'm having exactly the same the last few days I'm 35+3 though so a little behind you, I'm also hoping it's the baby moving down and getting ready to make an appearance (not early just on time and overdue!!!) hope it's the start of things for you your almost there :) xxx

My labour started with exactly that at 34 weeks.

I didn't feel "proper" contractions until after I'd been examined on labour ward.

My waters were trickling though so kind if knew it was labour

Ilovekittyelise · 25/01/2014 09:24

i had that for a month before my first and so far for two weeks with my second. it can be the start of something, but very often isnt. iv had to use hot water bottle at times as pain been so bad; still nothing happened!

altogetherwonderful · 25/01/2014 09:30

The good thing about it is, or so I've heard, is that the most part of the labour is actually currently taking place in your body getting itself ready, even though it may just feel like cramping etc

so it may just be a simple (?) matter of pushing baby out when the time comes - if that makes sense?

Londongirl84 · 25/01/2014 10:26

Gosh that would be amazing altogether. I assume I shouldn't be worried then about the pains x
