Pregnancy work paranoia?

Hi ladies, this is a weird thing to ask, I am 25 weeks pregnant with baby boy number 2 and due to leave for maternity in 8 weeks, but feel real paranoid that they will try to get rid of me before it starts, I had the same feeling with my previous pregnancy even though I worked for a different employer, could this be a pregnancy hormonal symptom or/and have any of you felt this way?!

I think you just start to feel very unsure of yourself at work around this time. I feel the same. By this point they've recruited someone to replace you, you're doing your handover, work is coming in that will need to be done after you finish, all that sort of thing! I think you get very conscious that work will carry on fine without you there and it doesn't feel very nice when it's what you spend the majority of your waking hours doing usually!
