Hi, Im 36 weeks (Dont tell me its too risky i just dont want to get induced next week) and just done a DIY sweep.

I already know im about 1cm, My cervix is low and really soft but as i was doing it nothing happened... i expected blood mucas or membranes but only white mucas, I dont know if i did it wrong....

Anyone else tried DIY sweeps and what result did you get??

Iv been considering this bit not really sure what to do/what the risks are. Midwife attempted a sweep earlier in the week but couldn't reach the cervix. Why are you being induced so early?

Im bring induced because of SPD, I think aslong as your hands are really clean theres no harm just checking, people are describing a soft cervix like a donut and soft as lips and if its hard its like the tip of a nose
