Sac Measuring Small

Hi,

Has anybody out there had an early u/s scan were the sac is measuring small?

Following spotting (from the start) I had a scan two weeks ago and all was fine (measuring at 5w 3d which was smaller than I expected) but due to measuring under six weeks they have a policy to scan two weeks later. I am still spotting but a scan today gives a good heartbeat and measurement of 7w 4d however I have been told that the sac is small. The sonographer said it looked 'hopeful' but aside from that I have been told nothing. The doctor simply said 'we've just got to check the development two weeks from now' and it was a wait and see game.

Just wondering if anybody else has been through this? What were you told?

How far along did you think you were? The fact that it's growing as you would expect now is a very good sign, unfortunately it really is just a waiting game now. Good luck
