So, im 24 weeks now and over the last three days have started itching insanely but only under my fat tummy, top of chest, under breasts, tops of legs. The skin is really red and sore but i think mostly from me scratching madly. Ive used emollients etc to no effect, the itch wont stop. Think this sounds like sweat rash or something else? Im sick of being poked and prodded as been in hospital recently. Any one else had this?

Didn't have it during pregnancy but I know it is fairly common.. Did itch like mad after my Cs and found that aqueous and camomile cream available at boots etc worked amazingly. Is very gentle and contains no nasties so perfect for pg and baby, hope u manage to get some relief soon x

I have been suffering from itching on my neck mostly during the 3rd trimester. Now it's moved also to the chest/bump usually at night when I get hot. My GP suggested E45 cream and that really does seem to help.
Try to stay as cool as possible as I find warmth makes it worse.
Good luck. It's very frustrating so I sympathise.

You should mention it to you midwife so they can run some bile acid tests and rule out anything more serious.
I suffered with terrible itching too, and once they'd confirmed that it wasn't cholestasis I was left with some Menthol Aqueous Cream and told to apply 3 times a day.
Eventually the itching died down but I was in agony for weeks.
Try to avoid having very hot showers or baths, the temporary relief is NOT worth the aftermath Sad
Good luck x
