So I work at a nursery and have been off for a week sick but while I've been off one of the kids has gone off sick with chicken pox so of course there's a chance I was exposed last week! What should I do? I'm 8 weeks xxx

If you've had it nothing. My ds had the pox when I was around 8wks but mw wasn't bothered because id had it if you haven't had it give your mw a ring.

I've had it twice but with DS1 my blood tests showed that the MMR jab didn't work for me so I was told to be extra careful around pox?! Xxx

call your gp. they'll give you a blood test to see whether you have the antibodies, either from a previous infection, vaccination or if you have the infection now. if the latter, they may want you to have some extra monitoring.

I agree, get your bloods checked and they'll quickly be able to tell you if you're immune or not. I had chicken pox as a child but caught it again off my DC. I think that's highly unusual though and I'm sure you'll be fine, but I'd rather have a quick blood test just to checkSmile
