Is anyone pregnant again while they already have a child under 1 years of age ?
My question is did you managed to lose much weight after giving birth before you were pregnant again.
My worry is that Iam ready to start trying again but still haven't managed to lose much weight from last pregnancy, my little one is almost 6 months, and ive just started doing a fitness class and eating more healthy now Christmas is out the way, but iam just worried that if I was lucky to fall pregnant soon that iam going to end up the size of a house with all this extra weight Confused xx

Hi when ds1 was 6 months I found I was unexpectedly pregnant with ds2! I was still over weight from ds1.

But you can join slimming world to.follow a healthy eating plan. After ds2 I was lighter

Than I was before I was pregnant.
Ask your midwife. Mine was very supportive!

I was 10 weeks pregnant when my dd turned 1, I hit the gym about 3 months after she was born, lost a tonne of weight and now I kinda wish I hadent, all fat and pregnant again!!

Lottystar · 23/01/2014 15:36

I found out I was pregnant again when ds1 was 3 months old. I'd only lost 2 stone from my first pregnancy (put on 5!) I tried to just eat healthily with ds2 and only put on a stone through the entire pregnancy. Lost 3.5 stone after at Slimming World and need to get back there as just found out I'm pregnant with our third. Good luck x

I really wish I hadent bothered! I'm 13 weeks and look fat again already! However, it depends on your weight now, if your severely overweight then you may struggle to conceive, that sounds really harsh Confused please remember I don't know you, you may be a size 4 for all I know!
Unless there is a medical reason to lose weight I wouldn't bother personally, but it did feel good to do something I enjoyed!

Lottystar · 24/01/2014 09:58

DS2 is 21 months and I'm due in September. I'm staying at slimming world whilst pregnant to just make sure I don't pile on weight again. It's all just healthy choices really without any deprivation.

Alexchallex · 24/01/2014 10:51

I'm 2 months preg and current baby is 9 months. Going to tackle the weight issue afterwards. I was at least half stone if not more when I fell pregnant with number two. But I feel a lot bigger than I ever was

I had worried about this when I fell pregnant (unexpectedly) for Dc2 while Dc1 was just 11months old. I had gained 3.8 stone with dc1 and only lost 1.6 stone when I found out I was expecting dc2. I was advised by my midwife not to try to watch my weight till dc2 arrives (since I was already pregnant). I heeded her advice and I am 39weeks pregnant and have only gained about 1.5stone the entire pregnancy. My advice is this: if the extra weight wouldn't be a problem with you conceiving, then don't put in so much effort to loose the weight. Baby dust to you!!!! Hope you get to concieve soon.

Well in all honesty I couldn't bare to weigh myself throughout pregnancy but I was 10 stone beforehand which at the time was not my ideal weight as usually around 9 stone but I had a bit of a rough year having a mc and a ectopic one after the other an got a little depressed plus was on rest for 6 week's after ectopic, no time for exercise then I fell pregnant straight away again and was 10 stone, am currently 12 stone so not much from the 10 but like I said am used to being 9 so nothing fits me, just hoping if I don't get pregnant before am due back in work (may) that am going to fit iny uniforms haha
I will look into joining slimming world sounds like a good choice, and if I do get a bfp over the weekend think I will change kickfit class to aqua aerobics,
keep an eye out goin to try a cheap test over the weekend because not actually due till next week xxx
