Is this normal?

Hi. Sorry if this is a silly question.
I'm 8 weeks pregnant for the first time. Since yesterday I've got a really strange horrible taste in my mouth, almost fruity. It's driving me mad. Also got several ulcers.
Is this normal or should I be asking midwife? Don't want to start bothering them with silly worries!

Its normal to experience a strange taste. Usually metallic though, like copper pennies. The ulcers could be caused by the change in hormones

If you're not wanting to bother the MW about it, then ask the GP, they should be able to help
