This is my first pregnancy and I'm sorry if I'm asking really stupid questions. I'm in wk10 and it feels as though I've got a slightly strained muscle in front of my womb - almost like when you have slight period cramps, but without any feeling of actual muscle cramping. Just a slight, constant sort of pulled muscle dull ache. There isn't any spotting or anything like that, and otherwise I'm well (apart from the joys of morning sickness...!!)

Is this normal??

I'm hoping it is part of the whole womb expanding... but I'm so nervous that I needed to ask...

I felt something like this, particularly with my second. In my case it was jyst5 all the ligaments stretching. I did go to the docs though as I was a little worried.

Sounds like round ligament pain, you'll pull that over and over:(

I feel like this - just like I've pulled a muscle in the middle of my pelvis. I have a cold at the moment and sneezing is awful - everything down there hurts!

BTW, I've had 2 early scans due to bleeds over the time I have had this pain and all was well.

Thanks so much for your replies - definitely put my mind at ease.

I hoped/thought it might be something like that and shall mention it to my GP if it gets worse or different.

Phew. God, this whole thing is such a rollercoaster... and I'm not even 3 months in(!)
