Congratulations! Thanks

I think you need to put the idea of a mortgage on the back burner and find a rented house that would be suitable for the four of you. It's not fair on your parents to continue living with them. Make sure your name goes on the rental agreement as well as your partner's.

Tell them at the same time as you tell them you're moving out because you realise it's unfair on them and you're old enough to stand on your own two feet? Hmm

Also congratulations & my comment was made in a practical, not nasty, mode.

Congratulations Thanks

I guess the best thing to do is to find somewhere to rent and just get on with it, unless you are nearly there with deposit money?

How's your partner feeling about it all?

I'm pregnant and live with my partners mum, sister and uncle.. In a 3 bed house! We have the smallest room and have noroom for baby stuff but aren't moving out just yet due to saving for a mortgage Smile. I'm 19 and my partner is 27, we would be out if the house by now but he has helped out with his disabled sister and he's been out of work due to medical reasons (now working). Just tell them straight, sit them down mmake them a brew and tell them Smile.. Hope fully you will have enough to move out soon!
