when i went to the doctors on thursday i had a positive pregnancy test and they had to send it off to be confirmed im just scared it will come back negative even though ive done about 10 tests that come back positive :( xxx can anyone reassure me please? xxx

If all your home tests are positive then I wouldn't worry. Most doctors don't even do a confirmation test they just take your word for it.

Well the nurse did a test and then said they just need it to be sent off so it can be confirmed but she said they practically do the same as she did but she did say congratulations to us so she wouldnt have said that if she didnt think i was would she? xxx

My dr didn't even do a test. The home tests are perfectly reliable.

Can you do a home test while you wait to reasure yourself? I think it's pretty much impossible to have a false positive.

(you can have a false neg., however. But that's not your worry)

I think its cuz we have been trying for ages and something always goes wrong like i come on period which i havent yet im 13 day overdue and the every single test ive done is positive so its quite obvious I am its just i am a worrier lol xx
