Hi,

I am 37 weeks pregnant with girl boy twins and I am seriously beginning to not be able to cope! I have a 2 and a half year old as well but lots of support.

Is there anyone else out
there who can share in my
misery or offer words of
encouragement?

I am due to be induced on Friday as they are both on the large size for twins but am starting to wonder how
on earth I am going to get to Friday!

Sorry for moaning post! Just wanted to see if there is anyone else in the same situation? Smile

I sympathise as I am only 36 weeks with one, still working as a physio, have another cold and trying to clear out the house. Feeling broken! Not sure what I would be doing if I was growing two.
I hope Friday comes soon and pleased you have support x

Not any more but huge congrats and sympathies! My b/g twins are now two and dd was also 2.5 when they were born. I got to 36+3 and could barely move so you have all my sympathies! Gosh I remember it well. Wonderful cuddling two little bundles tho :)

I am literally on my knees. Walking and just getting up hurts and I have horrific heartburn.

I am having a few pains with my braxton hicks this afternoon so fingers crossed things are starting.

I worked as a reception class teacher until 37 weeks with my first which was hard. Only made 32 weeks this time. I am sure it will be worth it in the end but I can honestly say never ever again!

Xx

I feel your pain! I'm 33 weeks pg with twins plus have a 2.5 year old. I'm due to have a c section at 37 weeks and honestly don't know how i am going to handle another 4 weeks of getting larger! Already people are stopping and staring on the streets and the heart burn, restless leg syndrome, inability to stand or move about without unattractively grunting..all driving me mad. On the other hand, slightly terrified of their arrival and how I will cope so not willing time to pass! We are also supposed to be moving house in the next 3 weeks..yay! Anyway, you have my sympathies!

Danilou22 · 19/01/2014 17:18

Oh goodness, poor you! We are aiming to put our house on the market in a couple of months which I thought was bad enough, I certainly couldn't move now Confused

I am due to be induced on fri as the babies are big, otherwise they were going to leave me until around 39 weeks! i just want them our now!

Good luck with the next few weeks of your pregnancy x

Btw I know what you mean about people looking when you are out, I am going out as little as possible now.

The midwife measured me on Friday just to see and my bump was measuring 58 weeks!!!!!

Am only 29 weeks with twins but I also really struggling. Am due to be induced at 37 weeks and am counting down.
I think having twins to look after will be easier than being pregnant with them.
I have four dc already youngest just turned 3 and a 17 month old.

SoonToBeSix · 19/01/2014 17:26

Grin At 58 weeks

chocolatedrops31 · 19/01/2014 17:31

Wow 58 weeks, that's insane! Wondering what I measure..as it is I can only really wear maternity dresses because tops don't cover my bump!

You're doing amazingly, I never got to 37 Weeks as my girls came at 36 Weeks. I had a 3yo too and my parents had to have her to stay as I was falling asleep in the sofa - a deep sleep so she wasn't being watched properly. Completely worth it, my girls are 2 now and it's still completely mad but I live being a mum of twins. Even considering a 4th :)

Your all freaking me out .... Only 16 weeks with twins and already feel massive! God knows what state I'm going to be in by 37 weeks. Can I ask- have you all managed to keep driving? Worried that at some point I won't fit behind the wheel

Danilou22 · 19/01/2014 19:51

My other half banned me from driving at about 35 weeks. My car was really low though and I struggled to get in and out.

Hope we are not scaring you too much. It is just this last bit that is terrible and I am apparently carrying massive babies (for twins anyway) I worked as a Reception teacher until I was 32 weeks and managed that.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xx
