How many weeks am I??

Hello ladies! This is my first pregnancy but am very unsure about how far gone I am....My periods are the 25th of each month...I 'felt' different during most of December so I took a test a week before my due period and got a very clear positive (I tested twice). My period in November was a day long and was little more than slight spotting (sorry if tmi)..I feel as though I'm further gone than the 7 weeks if I go from November period...I already have a slight bump (not bloating) and horrendous morning sickness (doc had out me on sickness tablets)....so my question to you is how far along do you think I am??

You count from the first day of your last period. It could be that your November period was actually implantation bleeding or something like that (unless your period is usually very short and very light), in which case I guess you need to count from 25 October.

Impossible to say, especially if you're not sure if your November period was a real period.

Do you have a date for your 12 week/dating scan? That's the only way you're going to know for sure.

Until you're scanned, you have to go from date of LMP (as there really isn't anything else to go on) which makes you 7+6, and as your cycle varies from 28-31 days it could be a few days either side of that. It's not uncommon to suspect dates are wrong - so something to mention to GP or MW.

Sometimes scan dates can bring up dates that seem wrong (eg plonking it it a week when DTD did not occur) but you would be
looking to see if there was a whole 4+ week difference and that would definitely be noticed.

Do you have an appointment for a first scan?

have an appointment with a midwife on Friday which I have been waiting for since my positive test so hopefully it will get the ball rolling and she will book in a scan I'm currently keeping it quiet till the scan so getting pretty impatient lol x
