Hi everyone, I got my BFP yesterday, I'm approx 4 weeks pg. The only reason I took a test was because I didn't feel like I was about to have af, rather than actually feeling pg. Other than a few light cramps, similar to period pain, I have no symptoms at all. I appreciate (having spent far too much time lurking) that I am lucky and should make the most of this but I was just wondering if any of you experienced this in the very early days and at which point did the symptoms start? I don't want them to start but if I could perhaps prepare myself that would be good!

I think symptoms/ morning sickness usually start at around 6 weeks or when the hormones reach a certain level. Sit tight you could be cursing worrying in a few weeks. Have a happy and healthy 9 months

I was exactly the same. Took a test only because I felt a bit off not because I felt pregnant. Completely expected it to be negative but found out I was 5 weeks gone and here I am at 24 weeks!

I had absolutely no symptoms, no sickness, nothing, other than period like pains until I was about 6 weeks. The only thing I have now is heartburn.

I'd say enjoy it Smile

You're a bit early for symptoms so may yet be hit by them! But with this pregnancy I had none at all other than lack of AF and a tum by about 10 weeks (2nd baby). Now at 21 weeks I have the bump and some stretching pain but still not much else to make me 'feel' upduffed!

I was so symptomless that I was 17 weeks before I found out. I had erratic periods anyway, so thought nothing of it.

Thanks for the replies :) I'm not worried at all, just genuinely curious! I will make the most of it while I can and wait it out!

Hi honeyBear. I had BFP mid Dec and totally wasn't expecting it. We were TTC but only symptom was AF late. I went to the doctors who said I was about 5 weeks and most symptoms start around 7 weeks - ie Christmas week. Right on schedule, relentless nausea started, sore breasts, peeing all the time. The sickness is starting to go already and I feel totally lucky if that was as bad as it's going to get. Still, can't wait for 2nd trimester to come, hopefully blooming will start then (certainly not now!) ! Good luck

Well you've still got time for the symptoms to kick in! I've had none at all with this pregnancy though, was a shock as I had horrible morning sickness with my last!
