Potential breech baby....advice please!

A friend of mine is due in about 3 weeks & has just discovered the baby has turned the wrong way. She is due to see the midwife in a few days who will try to turn the baby ???? This is really worrying me, have never heard of this before & am worried for safety of baby. Never had this problem during my 2 pregnancies so can't help her. PLEASE HELP!!!

It is normal to try to turn the baby, but often they just turn back to breech position overnight or it doesn't work. Most of my friends with breech babies have ended up with c-sections here in the UK, whilst most of my Swedish friends have given birth naturally with breech. Perhaps the policies are different here, but you can give birth naturally even if in breech (I would personaly opt for c-section though. Brrrrr!)
