Hi, this is my first post so here goes.....
I have taken two clear blue pregnancy tests and both have been positive!!!
Then I had some light bleeding and cramps
When I went to the doctor they said that there test is negative.
I re done the clear blue and it's still positive!

Any ideas on what this could mean? ??

their test might not be as sensitive

Different sensitivities of the tests used maybe.
V early MC ie 'chemical pregnancy'?

Have you missed a period?
Are you still bleeding?

It can take a while for pregnancy hormones to fall enough for tests to turn negative again after a loss, or it is too early for a consistent result.

No the bleeding and cramps have now stopped and the test is still positive. If I have miscarried how long before the hormone is out of my system?

Unfortunately this happened to me - I had tested positive for a week- then my clear blue was positive on the same day I got a negative at the doctors. They drew blood the same day and my blood hcg was only 12 which was still giving a positive on the clear blue believe it or not. I began to bleed a few days later so it was an early miscarriage.

On a positive note I conceived four weeks after this. Fingers crossed for you OP

If I have had a miscarriage would I generally have a heavy period afterwards x

In 2000 I did 3 tests which were positive. I went to the doctors they did a test and said it was negative. I did 5 more tests which were all positive and the result is 13 next month. So you may still be pregnant.

I had a test in hospital and it said negative. It was wrong. I'm now 36wks gone. I don't think the NHS ones are that sensitive!
