When did you see a foot pop out of your belly whilst pregnant? So many people have told me it'll happen but nope, not for me not yet Sad I've got loads of movement, but no defined feet. I have an anterior placenta which probably doesn't help, and all throughout my pregnancy unless I do a lot of moving around, the baby has laid very low down.

I'm 32 weeks now and still can't really tell what bits are what just from feeling from the outside. My belly makes ripples sometimes but I have no idea which bit is pushing from the inside.

I didn't and think it's pretty rare.

Same here mrs Hmm I'm nearly 31 weeks, and the only thing I can determine is where the baby is lying as my stomach goes hard in those places.

With DS1 it looked like he was trying to escape, the movements were very dramatic. But I couldn't really tell if it was a foot/knee/hand sticking out, just very odd shapes and sometimes my whole bump would move from side to side!
I'm 17 weeks with DS2 so only flutters at the moment but looking forward to bigger movements. But even friends/family who were pregnant about the same time were very surprised at how obvious my bump movements were, I guess it depends on so any things like amount of fluid, baby position, placenta position etc

Yeah mine seems to be really close to the surface but you can't tell what limb it is, sometimes something sharp protrudes that I suppose could be a knee or an elbow.

I always thought that foot hand thing was a bit of a myth!

I've had six pg and during my second my dds foot stuck out for about a minute. You could make out the shape of the foot and everything was very cute. It has never happened again during other PG though so just think it was a one off.

I'm 39+1 with dc2 and never seen defined feet or hand shapes.

I have got the worlds wriggliest foetus! I know which way they are lying so i know roughly what's sticking out, be it back/bum of feet/hands.

I wouldn't wish it on yourself. It's really uncomfortable.

I didn't see a defined foot stick out but I did lie on the bed and feel a foot move against the top of my stomach, so I was able to gently hold onto DS's heel for a moment, then let it go. He moved it out of the way then.

I have had lumps stick out but could never tell which body part it was, am on pregnancy no 3 at the moment. My mum had 4 children and she only ever recognised feet and fists with one of her pregnancies, but then she was 36 weeks pregnant with twins :)
