Helpful advice only please. Technically I'm a Dahl however my husband & I look after or local church. Hubby is away this weekend & I've been really rough all day everyday for the past few Weeks i've been to the Dr's today & have some tablets to help relieve some of the nausea. I'm just wondering if any of you would think about getting someone to cover my service on Sunday morning as I'm due to preach, hopefully I shall be feeling better by Sunday but with 2 other children to look after I don't want top over do things

I dont know what a Dahl is but Yes it sounds like the last thing you need is to preach on Sunday morning. Try to get get some cover now while you still have a few days to go till Sunday

That was meant to day sahm typed on my sons tablet with predictive text lol I've emailed my 'area manager' so will see what response I get in the morning. Lucky I want well when I saw her last week so ended up telling her about the baby even though I'm still only 9 Weeks and she was really understanding but then she had 3 or 4 DC herself she even allotted a short break in the middle of our meeting as she could see I was struggling. I'll let you know what happens

The tablets may reduce the vomiting but are unlikely to ime to reduce the nausea. Tiredness makes hyperemesis / vomiting and nausea worse.

Personally (second hyperemesis pregnancy, 10.5 wks) I would rest as much as possible. With dh away, I certainly would plan a survival weekend with dc - any help from family available?

I am also 9 weeks and it is so hard not being able to tell everyone when you feel at your worst. Good luck with getting some help

Cover has been arranged keys handed over so I don't have to be there if I don't feel well enough. The tablets have helped to ease things still vomiting but not add much & as long add I don't do anything other than read or watch TV I don't feel to bad either so should survive the weekend without DH.
