feeling stupid :(

Just been so see my doctor, currently 7 weeks pregnant. Doctor offered to sign me off work for the rest of the week and at the time I felt okish so said I'd be fine but now I feel totally awful again and wish I'd said yes! I'm really light-headed, with white spots in my vision and I can't get warm! Why did I say no :((( xxx

Oh poor you. Can you ring the doctors and explain to the receptionist and they might be able to get the doctor to do the note and you could pick it up?

Yes give the doctor a call, they will have phone appointments so it's not unusual for a patient to want to speak to the doctor. They may ask you to call back at a particular time or the doctor will ring you.

You can self certify for 5 days then see the Dr next week :)

Phoned the doctors and she is doing me a note! Such a relief cos I feel dreadful right now! Don't feel safe driving or anything! Xxx
