hello I'm new to this so please forgive me if I don't have much knowledge in this sort of thing :L has anyone fell pregnant 10 days before Af is due ? I've read it's possible but unlikely , I had unprotected sex (tmi) 10 days before I'm sure af was due , I'm now two weeks late . Didnt actually think any thing of it until I started getting some symptoms such as :
cramps (thought af was coming so many times) , yellowish gooey discharge sorry if tmi , sore-ish boobs but very tingly nipples, headaches I don't usually get them, feeling exhausted all the time, felling really thirst and my sense of smell has become really sensitive ... I know this is so long but just wanted to get every thing in , answers would be much appreciated :)

Erm sperm can stay/live in the v-jay-jay for 5 days, ovulation can sometimes occur at random times too (i.e. not necessarily 14 days). It depends on your age too as the younger you are the more fertile you are likely to be too. How old are you?

Hubbythecatandme · 14/01/2014 22:28

I though I was coming on too when I first got pregnant, same sort of pain = implantation pain. I too had headaches, tingly nipples, sore boobs... think your best bet is to take a home pregnancy test...

KitKatChick · 14/01/2014 22:29

Sounds pretty possible to me. If you're 2 weeks late already a test is your best bet as it will tell your for sure. Btw I'd just go for a digital one straight away as I didn't trust my interpretation of a normal test. Good luck and hope it's the answer you want.

yup. very possible. POAS.

Elle248 · 14/01/2014 22:29

Thanks , someone told me you can only get pregnant on you're ovulating days which at this point I don't hold much trust in that statement anymore lol I'm 20 years old :)

Elle, don't trust that at all, especially aged 20, you will be very fertile and your body will want nothing more than for you to get preggers! I once watched a documentary on fertility showing that women display subconscious signals when they are fertile (lips slightly fuller, they are more likely to wear shorter skirts and to feel horny... even lap dancer make lots more money when they are fertile, scientists think men very likely sense they are fertile because of subconscious signals and "want them more" so they get a lot more success and cash!) We are after all "mammals" so yup don't trust your body will religiously keep you baba free if you have unprotected sex ;)

Plus, sperm can live for 5 days inside you so, technically you can get pregnant 5 days before ovulation too!!

Oh thank goodness for you knowing so much about these things :L I shall hope for the best !! Get testing and hope I see a bfp soon :)

You can only get pregnant around ovulating days but 10 days before your period could have been one. The luteal phase (bit between ovulating and period) is on average 10-16 days, but for some people it is 8 or 9 days. Plus the egg lives for 24 hours. Good luck!
