IUGR and the abdomen?

So I'm 38 weeks this Thursday, and have had a stressful pregnancy, with monitoring of Hashimoto's, the development of GD, a positive for Strep B and now a third scan indicating that my baby's abdomen is still tiny (now less than 2nd centile).

The first scan it was sixth centile, then fifth, and now second. The placenta seems normal, as does the heart rate, and the blood flow to the umbilical cord, but I'm obviously concerned that the abdominal growth is so off (everything else is measuring 20th centile or thereabouts, and baby weighs approximately 5 pounds eight ounces).

Has anyone experienced repeated scans suggesting that growth is behind, either overall or in relation to one area, and had a positive outcome?
