OVEX DILEMMA

Hi all,

Okay so here's the bottom line. I'm 16 weeks +3 pregnant and i've got threadworms. Saw the doc, who said the only way to get rid is to take the meds (..when i said hygiene method it is then). Not sure i can live like this the next 5 months, want them gone, it's really quite depressing and stealing my joy over this much wanted pregnancy. On the other hand, if i take Ovex- is that okay...??.So much mixed opinion online!

Anyone had experience of this or got any advice.
TIA
This is my first time on here :)

Oooh you poor thing. I got them as a teen and was too embarrassed to do anything about it, so did the hygiene method, and it worked a treat. Have you got toddlers? They spread the little mites around.

Ps there are many natural options if you can google it, although don't stick a garlic clove up your bum as apparently it hurts and doesn't work...!

I had the same problem at about the same amount of weeks. I managed to get rid of them by eating loads of pumpkin seeds, worth a try! Good luck!

Hi thanks guys, yes i've got 2 tots already, and work with children, so i guess it's no great surprise.

i bought pumpkin seeds yesterday so gonna give that a try teamed with stepping up the washing etc. Did you have to eat A LOT of the seeds Cyril? Also, how long did it take to clear up do you think?

@mamalovesbaby777 what was the out one. I’m in the same situation and debating meds verses trying to rid them naturally with hygiene measures and pumpkin seeds!
