39 weeks and dull ache

Hi, just turned 39 weeks today and all last night and today I have had lower back ache and today an achey pain in my lower tummy. Seems fairly constant but at times it gets worse but I am not in agony. Anyone else had this at this stage in pregnancy and knows what it could be? I have been having some diarrhoea too over the last 24 hours.

Sounds like early labour to me- good luck!

Really?! I just walked around and the pain got quite intense and my whole stomach tightened up. Might have a bath and see if it eases it.

I keep getting really frequent tightenings (every 6,8 or 10 minutes) with some pain but it seems so sporadic? It's like Braxton Hicks but more painful that usual and much more often. So confused!

That's just how I started.
Best of luck.

Sounds like baby wants to make an appearance! Congratulations and good luck Grin

Thank you! Just walked around and still got back pain with tightenings too but also a headache and really hot. I do feel like SOMETHING is happening! I hope so!

Good luck!

Oh, and eat something if you can Smile

Now I am getting these painful tightenings (more painful than before) every 4 minutes or so. I feel like it would be more painful though if it's labour and not this frequent at this stage. But if it's not labour than I would be concerned at what is going on with me! had a bath and that hasn't eased them.

Any update crumb?

Went to bed with tightenings and cramp every 10 minutes or so but woke up this morning with nothing! So thinking it was false labour which is so annoying.
