Seriously worrying myself silly over what feels like period pains. They last a few hours, go and come back a few hours later. I have had no bleeding though.
Google is not helpingConfused
I don't see the midwife for 3 weeks and I'm roughly 6 weeks pregnant. Please reassure me.

I had period like pains in very early pregnancy. Im now housing a 12+4 wiggly bean. If you are in any doubt call your midwife.

Hope the pain vanishes soon x

Yes, normal to have period type pains

Is it your first baby? I think they tend to be stronger for first pregnancies and less so for subsequent..

Do phone your midwife though if you're concerned at any point

I had them with DS1, as well as a tiny bit of bleeding. He was fine!

wishy cramping is perfectly normal - I had it right up until 17 weeks and still get the odd twinge now I'm 25weeks. In the first trimester it was distinctly period pain-like (and was sometimes accompanied by brown spotting). It is perfectly normal and just your uterus stretching to accommodate the baby. The only time you ever need to worry about it is if it is accompanied by heavy bleeding. Stay away from google - it is not helpful and will only make you worry more!

I had period like pains every now and then, I wasn't too worried as I wasn't bleeding and I'm now at 23 weeks. I'd only be worried if they were really painful or there was blood.

I'm 7+2 and I've had cramps for the last few days!! It's just the muscles stretching and growing!!! I remember having it with my first dd!! Xx
