Hi all I am a newbie!! I am looking for some advise. I have history of endometriosis and have problems with keeping pregnancies, I have had recurrent miscarriages some very early and others later on. I was very blessed to have had a healthy baby boy in 2008 after prem labour and a terrible pregnancy. My son was all worth it though and is now 6 years old this month and doing well in school. Yes I am a proud mummy.
I have a concern today as I am awaiting surgery for endometriosis re growth in march time and have split from my partner after many years of trying for another baby with again suffering miscarriages and loosing a pregnancy at 18 weeks while having a coil in place!!!!!
Here's what happened.
I have sex with my partner on the 25th dec in the morning. Later that day
I began bleeding on the 25th dec very light spotting and it was the right time for my period. I started to take ovranette (combined pill) as advised by consultant to have the surgery and then retry for a baby after. Took day one pill and literally bleeding stopped the following day. Wasn't even 100% sure if it was a period. Continued taking the pill pack and thought how great it was that I was not in pain or bleeding for once as endometriosis causes heavy clot bleeding and excessive pain. I missed the 8th day pill but took the 9th, 10th and 11th pill. I then went to some friends and forgot to take pack with me and missed days 12-16. I was therefore expecting to start bleeding and have been waiting for it to start. I am on day 16 of my cycle and no signs of bleeding or any other symptoms I normally have of a period.
Sorry for the long winded message just a little concerned and hoping someone can offer advise. Could I be pregnant or is my cycle just messed up?
