I'm 36wks and have very painful period type cramps quite low down. They don't last too long but stop me from even walking. Is this normal? What is baby up to?

I have had these for the last two weeks I'm currently 35 weeks they are twinges my midwife said its quite common but if they last more then a minute become regular and don't go away with paracetamol then you should ring your midwife or labour ward they would rather you ring and have you happy that nothing is wrong is what I got told! Hope this helps a bit x

I had a urine infection at 38 weeks with my DS2 and I thought I was in labour! the pain was the only symptom I had. Possibly worth checking out if it carries on
