Waters gone or pelvic floor issues? (Only 28 weeks)

This is dc3 for me and I'm 28+5. My waters haven't gone before I was in labour so I have no experience of what it would feel like.

Anyway when I woke up this morning (after I had already gone for a wee) I started coughing and was sick. However while I was being sick I think my pelvic floor gave up and I think I wee'd (embarrassing even having to type that!). My pelvic floor has been suffering this time round and I have been having the odd issues with leaking when coughing or being sick. I'm pretty sure it was just wee and it didn't smell sweet which is how I'm told amniotic fluid is supposed to smell but I've got myself worrying. It wasn't one big gush either which makes me think it wasn't my waters. I've put a pad on now and there's been no more leaks. Also baby is moving fine and my bump feels exactly the same.

In this circumstance would you think it was waters? I'm asking on here rather than ringing the midwife or hospital as DH has the car today and is 4hrs away so I have no way of getting anywhere. We live out in the sticks 45 minutes from the hospital. I really don't want to start messing with taxis with 2 kids under 5 in tow if like I suspect it was just wee. DH is only ever away one day every 2 weeks and works from home the rest of the time so obviously this would happen today! Advice welcome

Really does sound just like a wee. Sound perfectly normal too.

My waters broke before labour last time and they continued to come throughout the whole labour.

If you are really unsure you can fold a towel up four times, sit on it/lie down over it for about half an hour to see if it gets wet.

Thanks for the replies that's was my instinct on it is too that it was just wee. I just didn't want to put off getting checked because of something trivial like not having the car but at the same time I don't want to be messing about over nothing.

There was just quite a lot more than I've had when having leaks before but I guess it's normal for the bladder to not fully empty when pregnant. I just needed some reassurance as I can't talk it through with DH.
