I am 5-6 weeks pregnant and went to my gp on Monday as was having awful pains in right side going down below he examined me and sent me to A&E they told me to go home after waiting 8 hours without a scan and told me to ring back if things got worse. these past 2 days I have felt light headed dizzy and sick and having a lot of discharge I am scared should I go back or will I be ok ?

Your GP sent you to A&E and they did absolutely nothing? I'd go back, especially if you're still in pain.

Ok. Im not going to lie to you, the secateurs can be signs of an ectopic pg. If they are still going on you MUST go back. They NEED to scan you, or at the very least do a blood test 2 days apart to check for abnormal hcg levels. You cannot ignore tgis; if it doesn't feel right then keep going back.
Now that I've said that,I hope everything is fine for you, random stuff does just had one, but don't let this go. Fingers crossed for you. Xx

Yehh they shouldn't of let you go without seeing if it's ectopic go back and don't let them tell you to leave untill they've checked xxxx hope everything is okay ccc
