Well it'll definitely be in the next 4 weeks... Grin

I spent from week 37 last pregnancy with symptoms that felt like early labour, DS arrived at 40 weeks. I have a friend who had no symptoms at all until she went into labour. It's just one of those things I think, some people suffer more in the last few weeks than others!

It sounds pretty likely.

If you think the wetness could have been a leak of waters, worth ringing up and explaining what has happened and see if they'll assess you.

I cant stand all the waiting haha think my bodies playing tricks on me! Well i had the midwife monday but didnt mention the wetness as didnt think much of it but she said hes now very low.

If you think your waters might have gone on Sunday you really should have been assessed by now. They like babies to be born within 48 hours due to the infection risk.

lilyholdin20 · 08/01/2014 18:40

I dont think it was enough to be my waters? I asked a friend and she said she had the same but turned out to be alot of watery discharge. I keep getting told yourl know when your in labour so dont want to make a fuss if its nothing yet? Ah wish we could know when exactly they will arrkve ha ha

You really do need to get it checked the amount of waters can vary a lot. If your waters went in Sunday your baby is at serious risk of infection that could be fatal.

lilyholdin20 · 08/01/2014 18:47

Oh no now im worried! Should i call up the midwife?

Yes, waters can just be a trickle if your baby's head is blocking the rest from coming out. And yes, generally you do know when you are in labour, however waters breaking doesn't mean you're in labour hence any trickle should be checked. It really is very important.

Call your MW, I'm also 38wks and I called me MW today about something and she said at this stage I'd rather see you.

mrsHux no baby yet?

SoonToBeSix · 08/01/2014 19:02

Don't worry if you get checked tonight you will be fine but definitely ring Thr midwife/ labour ward now.

Don't panic am sorry I didn't mean to worry you I just meant if you left it any longer it could be serious.

MrsHuxtable · 08/01/2014 19:07

Don't panic. You will post likely have peed yourself. Haha. But do get it checked. In my area, you call maternity triage for something like that. OhCaptain, no baby. I was just about to update my thread in a little while. Been busy all day.

OhCaptainDarling · 08/01/2014 19:09

Sorry for the hijacked OP...
