Might be your joints loosening? I had this very early on (and still have it at 15 weeks) and physio said it was the muscles having to work harder to support the pelvis. If if carries on try and get an appointment as you can then get advice/exercises to stop it progressing into (very painful) SPD/pelvic pain.

Kri5ty · 09/01/2014 14:01

Is it your inner thigh? It could be the start of spd. If it carries on ask for physio before it gets worse (and you spend your time Sat on a gym ball!)

Shellywelly1973 · 09/01/2014 15:42

I have this but I'm 37 weeks & presumed it was a combination of weight & PGP.

As your 16 weeks it could be pgp/spd. Hormones making the ligaments softer/ stretchy. Mention it to your mw. An appointment c either a physio might help.

Take care.
