Do I have to fast before it?

I have an appointment for 11.30 tomorrow, not seen anyone since 12 weeks booking (2nd timer) so I didn't think to ask!

And... I saw a really lovely midwife today who made me an appointment to see a consultant at 31 weeks to discuss a csection there and then. So am feeling more positive now.

Oh your joking! My notes says to fast but if you had a mini thats maybe why!?
Well all is good now though thankfully! Glad you have had your mind put at rest then - Good luck with your consultant appt! Smile

Thank you.

I have been googling the mini GTT. If it comes back positive, you have the full one. I dot know why they just don't do the full one in the first place? I'd rather that than have to go back again.

Oh really? Yeh that seems a bit silly especially as you had starved yourself they should have just done the full one.
Fingers crossed your results will be ok and no need for further test! I was dreading them telling me it was inconclusive!!! But thankfully it was fine, had results through the post from mw...

I've had the gtt test this morning and the hospital have just rung to say I have it. I'm 35 +2. Got to go back to see a consultant tomorrow. Advice anyone?
