i have recently ready that British Lion eggs are safe to eat partially cooked as they have eliminated salmonella. Has anyone else read this and eaten them? I miss my dippy eggs and soldiers so much!!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I don't think it's official advice but I have carried on with runny eggs as long as they are lion stamped too

From what I've read here the lion stamp means the chickens are vaccinated against salmonella.
FWIW, I've been having runny eggs all along!

It's not that they've eliminated salmonella, they have vaccinated the hens.

Yes, I eat soft eggs throughout pregnancy (except the ones from the neighbour's hens, which I cook through).

I also ate soft eggs throughout 3 pregnancies, as long as they had the lion mark.
